The free zone is about 38 kilometers south of Port Sudan and is strategically serviced by the port of Suakin and the Bashaer oil port. It also has a logistical status through Port Sudan Airport. The area of the free red area of 600 million square meters by 60 km square on the Red Sea coast width of 10 square kilometers.
