A public joint stock company established in 1993 after the establishment of the Free Markets
Establishment (established in 1973), the Sudanese Exhibitions Authority (established in 1976), the
Al-Qurain Village Hotel and the Al-Hubei Land Restaurant – the Emiri Restaurant (established in 1978).
Organizing local and international exhibitions and investing in hotels, tourism and business.

The Sudanese Company for Free Zones and Duty Free Shops is one of the largest companies operating in the
Sudan. Its shares are traded on the Khartoum Stock Exchange. The company is at the head of the economic
entities affecting the Sudanese economy due to the diversity and diversity of its activities.

Incorporation

It was established in September 1993 by a legislative decree of the National Assembly and by the
President of the Republic in accordance with the Companies Law as a state-owned company in accordance
with the Sudanese Companies Law. In 2002, it became a public shareholding company. The State retained
part of its shares and put the rest to public subscription. .

The purposes of the company

The main objective of the company is to adopt and activate the free zones industry in Sudan in addition
to its obligations to promote and improve free markets in all its outlets. The company is also committed
to organizing local, regional and international exhibitions and specialized exhibitions in addition to
tourism, hotel and transport services.
