SFZ holds its 10th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting and Extraordinary Meeting of the Shareholders .

Dr. Modathir Abdul Ghani Abdel Rahman, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sudanese Free Zones and Markets Co. SFZ said that the company is working on developing its various vital activities in free zones, exhibitions, duty free shops and expansion in the field of hotels and tourism facilities.
Addressing the 10th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting and Extraordinary meeting of the Shareholders held on Saturday 8th September ,2018 at Khartoum International Fair, the Chairman of the Board of Directors said that the financial performance indicators are good for the fiscal year ending 3Ist December, 2017 . The distinctive performance came as a result of a close cooperation and coordination between the board, the executive management and the employees that contributed to performance development.
In the meantime, Mr. Yusuf Mohammad Karrar, the Director General of the Sudanese Free Zones and Markets Co. SFZ said that the executive management has exerted efforts on the implementation of the recommendations of the previous General Assembly Meeting, especially the re-evaluation of the company’s assets, which he described as a major achievement. SFZ Director pointed out that the shares value of the company has recorded a big jump in Khartoum, Stock Exchange market.
In conclusion, the ordinary meeting approved the report of the Board of Directors and the report of the National Audit Bureau and the final accounts for the fiscal year ending 31/12/2017. The Board of Directors also approved the distribution of profits in 2017 and the allocation of profits to the shareholders, members of the board and the employees as incentives.
On the other hand, the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting of the shareholders approved the agenda on dividing the company’s shares nominal value to ease the circulation of the shares in Khartoum Stock Exchange Market.
