Workshop on the future of the Sudan’s economy after lifting the sanctions

The Director General of The Sudanese Free Zones and Markets Co. SFZ, Mr. Yusuf Mohammed Karrar has confirmed the importance of the company’s support to the activities held at the International Fair of Khartoum.
During his address on the workshop organized by SFZ in close cooperation with the Bank of Khartoum yesterday, he praised the workshop on future of the Sudan’s economy and its scientific working papers and the comments of experts and specialists.
He further explained his commitment to raise all recommendations of the workshop to decision-makers in the economic sector. He said SFZ has already started implementing economic projects.
The workshop has recommended the need for application of information technology packages and extra efforts aiming at writing off Sudan’s debts.
The workshop finally has recommended empowering Ministry of Trade to carry its responsibilities in a proper manner and more attention should be given to one-stop show services system with emphasis on research and development.
